The fabric provides full stretch with thermal protection.
The membrane at the core of the fabric is waterproof offering protection from rain and combined with the wind blocking characteristic prevents the effect of "wind-chill"
The cadet collar is designed for extra protection and has a soft inside lining for comfort. The 1/3 zip (full length is available if you prefer) has an inner storm flap and soft chin guard to further protect against irritation.
The sleeves are long enough to prevent them creeping up the arm when reaching for the catch, and the water repelling cuff provided extra comfort.
