Big Strong Gorls

When the concept of a bespoke rowing kit for members of Rowing Ireland's elite women's squad came about, we were delighted to be involved.   At the time they were just getting started with an Instagram page for fun updates for their followers and supporters.

In collaboration with the girls, additional products were added in 2023; a new onepiece, rowing leggings, sports bras, rowing gilets, cycling kits and sweaters, and the orders came from across the world from their supporters. 

The girls always wanted to do something good with the profits of the merchandise and in 2023 Powerhouse agreed to match this, and together with the team, we launched the BSG X Powerhouse Fund.  The aim was a fund to support the next generation of female rowers in Ireland.  The first recipients were awarded in the summer of 2023, with a total of €4500 shared.
