Club Fit - This Jacket is constructed using a combination of fabrics: the front, back and sleeves use a thermal insulated fabric with a breathable, waterproof, windproof membrane at the core, midweight with a soft touch on the inside. The membrane stops the wind, the soft touch brushed inner keeps the cold membrane away from your body.
Lightweight stretch side panels allow increased breathability so you don't overheat.
The membrane on the front, back and sleeves will stop the rain but the seams aren't taped and the side panels are lightweight and breathable, so we don't call this a waterproof jacket - it is designed for extra warmth on colder days.
It will take a few rides to work out what base layer is best for you depending on the temperature - around 8-9 degrees most people will only need a lightweight mesh base, below that and closer to zero, try something long sleeved and thermal.
You won't need to wear a club gilet over the top - all that will do is reduce the breathability with 2 membranes on top of each other. Instead think about your base layer(s) underneath next to your skin.
If you have one of the last Powerhouse winter jackets, you will most likely wear the same size in this jacket. The jacket is offered in womens sizes too, and they compare closely with the club jersey. But, if your jersey fits tight and you want more room in your jacket, simply go up a size.
